It all starts here.
One artist, one studio cat keeping her company, and one small brand built by hand. This is where Adaaye begins, and where it still lives, one canvas at a time.
The people, and one cat, behind it

The artist
Titas Basu
The hands behind every brushstroke: every Madhubani line, every hand-mixed colour, every signature on the back of a canvas.

The studio cat
Gupi Basu
Self-appointed quality inspector. Supervises every drying canvas from a safe distance and approves of absolutely none of them out loud.

The studio
Adaaye
The name for all of it: Madhubani art, folk painting and hand-painted décor, made one small studio at a time. Artistically Indian.
A girl who never put the brush down, a cat named after her own family, and a studio that grew out of both. This is where Adaaye starts.
