It began at a kitchen table.

Titas Basu started Adaaye at a kitchen table in West Bengal, mixing acrylic to match the reds and indigos she grew up seeing in Patachitra scrolls and alpona floor drawings during festival mornings.
What began as gifts for family became a full practice in Madhubani line work and acrylic folk painting. Every canvas, coaster and keepsake is still drawn freehand, one brushstroke laid inside another the way her grandmother taught her to fill a diya-lit courtyard pattern.
Over a thousand pieces have since travelled from that table to homes across India, each one signed, none of them alike.
Painted by hand. Rooted in Bengal. Artistically Indian.
